Your data is stored securely in Supabase — the same infrastructure used by thousands of production apps. We don't sell your data, run ads, or share it with third parties. During Beta, we collect only what's needed to run the product. Your workspace data (nodes, tasks, journal, finances) belongs to you and can be exported at any time.

Not in its current Beta form — an internet connection is required to load the app and sync your data with Supabase. Nodara runs entirely in your browser with no installation needed, but you'll need to be online to use it. Offline mode is something we're thinking about for the future.

Yes — a free account is required. Sign up takes under a minute with email or Google. Creating an account during Beta gives you Early Bird status, which locks in your access and any future perks before public launch. No credit card needed.

All three show the same project data — just through different lenses. Canvas is a spatial mind map where you see your entire project as a connected graph — ideal for understanding structure and dependencies at a glance. Table is a spreadsheet-style list — best for bulk-editing statuses, deadlines, and priorities. Kanban organises your tasks into columns by status (To Do, In Progress, Done, Blocked, Future) — great for a quick daily workflow view. You can switch between them instantly without re-entering any data.

The Journal is a built-in workspace diary for logging your work, decisions, and reflections. Each entry is tied to your workspace and can reference specific project nodes. There are four built-in templates: Daily Standup, Weekly Review, Meeting Notes, and Planning Session. You can also generate a Weekly Review automatically — Nodara summarises your past 7 days across all entries. Journal exports to Markdown.

Yes — Finance is a fully built-in module, not a plugin. Log income and expenses, assign categories, and set budget plans per category. The Finance view shows your monthly cash flow and spending breakdown. It syncs with Goals if you assign a budget to an initiative. Export all transactions to CSV at any time. Everything lives in the same workspace as your tasks and roadmap — no switching apps.

Nodara Beta ships with 8 views inside every workspace: Canvas (mind map), Table (spreadsheet), Kanban (status board), Journal (diary), Finance (income & expenses), Roadmap (phases & timeline), Goals (OKR tracking), and Analytics (progress & velocity). All views share the same underlying data — switching between them is instant.

Nodara is currently desktop-first and keyboard-optimised — the canvas and multi-view workspace are designed for a larger screen. On mobile, you'll see a prompt recommending you switch to desktop. You can bypass it, but the experience isn't fully adapted yet. A mobile-friendly version is on the roadmap.

Notion is built around documents and databases — great for wikis, not for project execution. Linear is an issue tracker built for engineering teams. Miro is a collaborative whiteboard without any task or finance logic. Nodara is purpose-built for a solo founder or small team who needs visual project management, a daily journal, finance tracking, OKR goals, and a roadmap — all connected in one workspace, without paying for five separate tools.

Yes — your data is always yours. Export options: full workspace as JSON (re-importable backup), Markdown (readable outline of all nodes), PNG (screenshot of your canvas), CSV from Finance, and .md files from Journal and Goals. We don't lock you in.

Yes. Nodara is keyboard-first by design — every core action has a shortcut. You can remap any of the 14 built-in shortcuts from Settings → Shortcuts. Changes are saved to your account and apply across sessions.
